Award-Winning Creatives Working With You
A partnership producing stunning results.
Composed of three units—print/design, web, and project management—ND Creative has been charged with solving design, marketing, and communication challenges for years. It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly. We recognize the privilege of serving Our Lady’s University, and know our campus partners feel the same way. When this motivation to continue to elevate the Notre Dame brand and contribute to its mission combines with the creative and technical talent of the individuals on our team, the results are extraordinary. We don’t say that as a matter of our own opinion; ND Creative is routinely recognized as a creative leader in and outside higher education.

Director of Web Communications
With a diverse background in web strategy, ecommerce, project management, and account management, Zach has been helping clients find success online for years. Great at evaluating client needs and establishing project direction, Zach manages the web team and ensures that projects are executed according to the client’s (and the University’s) high standards. He lives to help every client tell a better story. A proud Mendoza graduate and a native of the California mountains, he loves getting outdoors with his wife and sons.
Web Application Development Specialist
Jonathan has been working as a web developer in higher ed since 2001. He joined the Notre Dame community in 2004 when he was hired as a programmer for the OIT. He is also an adjunct instructor for the Mendoza College of Business where he teaches IT Management students to code.
When he is not at work, he's most likely cooking, playing instruments, riding a bike or watching premier league football on TV, sometimes all at once.
Senior Project Specialist
Amy splits her time ogling over new papers for printing and playing traffic cop for project work and deadlines. She is the print team Senior Project Specialist, handling both project management and production management. Amy came from the printing industry, working locally with several organizations, which led to her current position at the University. She’s a native of the Cheddar land, also referred to as God’s country (she may be a bit biased), where she studied design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Although many have tried to convert her, she will always be a Badger.
Ava came to ND Creative (Marketing Communications at the time) in 2003. Previous experience includes 22 years with the following Notre Dame departments: Ticket Office, Sports Information, Sports Marketing, Hammes Bookstore, and Photography & Television. Her responsibilities include coordinating and tracking the accounting functions of ND Creative, which includes the processing of the department accounts payable and receivable.
Senior Graphic Designer
Elissa (that’s with a long “E”—and may explain why we call her E) came to Notre Dame in 2011 after working with Asher Agency and RHB/The Agency. It is at RHB that she gained her passion for higher ed and served universities and colleges all over the country. She has been in the arts since a child, but her passion truly began in high school and then continued at the Herron School of Art and Design where she earned her BFA. She considers herself a garage sale junkie and has a slight obsession with finding deals. So you may find her at a local garage sale looking for something to spray paint. Elissa is the proud mother of three young girls, the youngest of which are twins.
With 15 years of experience in digital, Jess Galicia has worked with a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing and retail. Jess has a strong background in product design, user flows and creating engaging UX and UI for digital products and websites. Jess obtained a degree in Communications from Goshen College, which has equipped them with a solid understanding of effective communication strategies that they apply to their design work. When not working on user experiences, Jess enjoys spending quality time with their daughter, collecting vintage toys, and sharing their enthusiasm for the world of puppetry and animatronics with others.
Senior Web Designer / Developer
As a full-stack web developer with experience working for multiple Michiana agencies, Aaron brings an impressive design and programming knowledge to the ND Creative Web Team. His passion for art and problem-solving is what led him to pursue a BA in graphic design at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne. When he isn’t pushing pixels, Aaron enjoys participating in local art fairs, showcasing his work in freehand illustration and spending time with his unusually large family.
Project and Accounting Coordinator
Rachel is the project and accounting coordinator for ND Creative. From an accounting perspective, Rachel supports the staff accountant in areas such as the reconciliation of expense and revenue accounts, paying vendors and freelancers, and generating project invoices. On the project side, Rachel serves in a junior account manager capacity, assisting ND Creative project/account managers—specifically for the Print/Design team.
Rachel is a graduate of Ball State University and a native of the South Bend area. She enjoys painting, gardening, and spending time with her husband, step-daughters and granddaughter, numerous rescued cats, and her dog Bella.
Brittany has been wielding a red pen since 2006, and participated in her first spell bowl in the ’90s. Just don’t ask her to spell flibbertigibbet. After graduating with a degree in linguistics from Purdue University, she spent time in journalism, media relations, and magazines before joining ND Creative in 2018. Though she is well versed in multiple style guides, she will always have a soft spot for AP.

With a background in print and web design and development, Daniel has been helping people communicate since the late ’90s. As the web support developer, he works with the users of the 700-plus Conductor sites, troubleshooting, training, and helping them maintain and continually improve their websites. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring Michiana roads on two wheels. He once watched the Super Bowl live on a Monday morning.

Senior Graphic Designer
Justin doesn’t need much in life. He’s a simple man. He only needs his work, family, and sports. When he’s not on campus fixating over every pixel of a design project, he’s probably at home watching his 130-pound cowardly dog run away from squirrels. The simplicity of his life is why he can stay dedicated to such a talented team of creatives at the University of Notre Dame ND Creative group.
